An account is worth creating if you order more than occasionally, because it keeps your order history, the lot codes shipped against each order, and your saved addresses in one place — which matters when you need to trace which lot a result came from six months later.

The methods available to you are shown at checkout before you commit to anything. Payment processing in this category is more constrained than in general retail, and the options can change; we would rather show you what is genuinely available today than publish a list that goes stale.

If your institution requires a specific payment route — a purchase order, a bank transfer, an invoice against a departmental account — ask before ordering and we will confirm whether we can accommodate it.

Usually, yes. Send the purchase order and the billing contact through the research enquiries route and we will confirm terms, set the account up, and quote against your line items. First institutional orders take an extra business day while the account is verified.

Before dispatch, yes — email order support with your order number and we will amend or cancel it. Because orders cleared before the 2:00 pm ET cut-off ship the same day, the practical window is short.

Yes. Quantity breaks are applied automatically at checkout and are shown on each product page, so you can see the tier before you commit to a quantity. Beyond the published tiers, send a line-item list through the bulk and wholesale route for a quote — include compounds, variants, quantities and your delivery country, since the last of those changes the answer.

Wholesale accounts carry an additional condition: material may not be resold or redistributed for human or veterinary consumption, in any form. That is not negotiable, and accounts found doing so are closed.

No minimum. Single vials are fine. Standard domestic shipping becomes free above the threshold shown on the shipping page, which is the only order-size effect on price outside the published quantity tiers.

A handful of orders are held for review — most often a billing and shipping address mismatch, an unusually large first order, or a destination that needs an export check before dispatch. You will get an email the same business day telling you exactly what is needed. We do not hold orders silently.

An independent third-party laboratory with no commercial interest in the outcome. We do not run our own release testing, and we do not intend to — a supplier grading its own homework is the arrangement that created this market's credibility problem. The laboratory is named on every certificate.

Yes. Certificates are issued per lot, not per compound. The lot code on your packing slip and vial label matches a specific document in the COA library. If those two things ever disagree, tell us immediately — that is a serious defect and we will treat it as one.

Every certificate we hold is public before the lot is listed for sale, which is the entire point of the library. Nothing is gated behind an account or a purchase. Certificates stay published after a lot sells out so work done on older material remains citable.

They answer different questions. HPLC purity is chromatographic — the area of the main peak as a percentage of all integrated peaks. Net peptide content is gravimetric: how much of the mass in the vial is actually the peptide, once residual water and counterion salt are accounted for.

A lot can be 99% pure by HPLC and still be meaningfully less than 99% peptide by mass, because water and salt do not show up as chromatographic impurities. Net peptide content needs its own assay; where a certificate does not list one, it was not run. The testing page works through this in full.

Two reasons, both ordinary. Synthesis and purification are not perfectly reproducible, so real lot-to-lot variation exists. And peak integration involves judgement about where a peak starts and stops, so even repeat injections of one sample do not return an identical number.

Read a purity figure as a threshold that was cleared, not a score. The gap between 99.2% and 99.4% is generally inside method variability and is not a meaningful basis for choosing between lots.

Identity. Chromatography tells you how much of the sample is one component; it does not tell you which molecule that component is. Mass spectrometry measures mass-to-charge ratio and lets the measured molecular mass be compared against the theoretical mass for the stated formula or sequence. Running only one of the two leaves an obvious gap.

Only where a certificate lists that method. HPLC and mass spectrometry detect none of those things. Unless a test is named on the document, it was not performed — we will not imply coverage that does not exist.

If your protocol requires a specific additional assay on a specific lot, ask through the research enquiries route. Some can be commissioned; the cost and the turnaround are quoted up front.

Because these are research compounds and we are not permitted to — nor able to honestly — describe an outcome for a person. Product pages describe the published preclinical and in-vitro literature, name the research areas a compound appears in, and cite sources you can read yourself. That is the extent of what the underlying science supports.

No. Nothing sold here is approved by the FDA or any comparable authority for any use in humans or animals. They are laboratory research chemicals. A certificate of analysis is a record of analytical testing and is not a regulatory approval, a safety finding or a clearance of any kind.

Same business day if it clears before 2:00 pm ET; next business day otherwise. We do not dispatch at weekends — a parcel entering the network on a Saturday sits in a depot rather than moving. Cold-chain orders go out Monday to Wednesday only, so nothing is stranded over a weekend.

To most destinations, yes. We do not ship where import of the material would be unlawful, to addresses subject to sanctions or export controls, or to freight forwarders acting for an undisclosed final destination. Where we cannot ship, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.

You do. On an international order you are the importer of record: duties, taxes and brokerage fees are assessed by your customs authority after dispatch, are not collected at our checkout, and are typically billed by the carrier before release.

Confirming that the material may lawfully enter your country is also your responsibility. If a shipment is detained or destroyed by customs, that is an import decision made against the importer, and it is not refunded or replaced.

No. Every shipment is declared accurately, with the correct description and value, without exception. Asking us to do otherwise is grounds for cancelling the order.

Probably not. International parcels routinely go quiet for several days between leaving the origin country and appearing in the destination network — that gap reflects how handovers between postal systems are reported, not a missing parcel.

Contact us if tracking has been static for ten business days internationally, or four domestically, and we will open a carrier trace.

Photograph the outer carton, the shipping label and the affected items before unpacking further, then contact order support within five calendar days of the delivery scan. Damage confirmed by those photographs is replaced at our cost on the next available service, with no return required.

That is expected and is not by itself evidence of a temperature excursion. The insulated system is specified to hold the payload within range for longer than the packs stay frozen. What matters is transit time: if a cold-chain parcel arrives outside its stated window, photograph the packaging before opening it and contact us the same day.

An institutional affiliation is not a prerequisite for that warranty, but the warranty itself is binding. Making it falsely is a breach of our terms of service and voids every obligation we would otherwise owe you.

Only under a wholesale agreement, and only on the same terms we sell under: research use only, never for human or veterinary consumption, with the research-use framing and lot documentation carried through to your buyer intact.

Because it is true, because it is the condition on which these compounds may lawfully be sold at all, and because a supplier that states it once in grey footer text is signalling that it does not mean it. We verify what we are able to: the acknowledgement attached to every order, age confirmation, address and payment consistency, destination eligibility, and account history. We are not a licensing body and we do not audit laboratories.

What that means practically is that the warranty you give at checkout carries real weight. Orders that look inconsistent with research use are held, and accounts that market our material for consumption are closed without refund of any pending order.

Sealed, at −20 °C, protected from light and moisture, in the original vial until it is needed. These materials are hygroscopic and will pull water out of ambient air, which is why the seal matters as much as the temperature. Allow a vial to equilibrate to room temperature before opening it so condensation does not form on cold glass.

Storage conditions are stated per product, because they are not uniform. Where a product page differs from this general guidance, the product page governs.

Lyophilized powders do not. They are stable at ambient temperature for the duration of normal transit — that is precisely what lyophilisation is for — and should be moved to their stated storage conditions on arrival. Products flagged temperature-sensitive on their page ship cold-chain instead.

Under correct storage, lyophilized peptides are generally stable for extended periods; small molecules vary more widely by compound. Retest dates, where a laboratory has assigned one, appear on the certificate.

A certificate is a snapshot of the material as tested on that date, not a stability study, and it makes no claim about material after it leaves our control. If long-term integrity is material to your work, re-assay before use.

Repeated freeze-thaw cycling is a known source of degradation and variability across many classes of compound, and it is worth avoiding on general principle. Plan work so a vial is brought to temperature once. Where cycling is unavoidable, record it — it is exactly the kind of handling detail that later explains an outlying result.

Standard laboratory practice for research chemicals of unknown toxicological profile: gloves, eye protection and a laboratory coat, handling in an appropriate containment environment, no eating or drinking in the work area, and no handling by personnel who are not trained for it.

Toxicological properties are not fully characterised for most compounds in this category. Treat every item accordingly.
