Research context
Mod GRF (1-29) carries D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15 and Leu27 substitutions that block DPP-4 cleavage, asparagine deamidation and methionine oxidation. Because it lacks the drug-affinity complex, it is the short-residence comparator against CJC-1295 DAC in receptor-occupancy and pulsatility experiments. No consensus CAS registration exists for the free peptide, so the field is left null.
