YK-11 is a gene-selective, steroid-scaffolded AR modulator described by Kanno and colleagues. In C2C12 myoblast culture it is reported to induce follistatin expression and to act as a partial agonist at the androgen receptor, distinguishing its transcriptional profile from that of full agonists. Literature is confined to in-vitro work. Not approved for human use in any jurisdiction.
